Speaking on the sidelines of an event in Kaduna State, Obi said that the country’s unity, peace, and security come before all other considerations. As a result, he urged all people to uphold the law and contribute to the success and development of the nation.
“The most essential thing right now is that we keep moving forward along the path of peace, religious harmony, ethnic harmony, and cohabitation.
The LP flagbearer said, “Let’s have a calm, tranquil Nigeria where the government would focus on attending to the problems of the people.
While acknowledging that there are still unanswered concerns and problems with the most recent election, Obi insisted that residents must be allowed to live in peace, work, and focus on solving Nigeria’s problems, which include insecurity, poverty, education, and other crucial facets of the country’s existence.
The Labour Party presidential candidate, who was joined by his running mate, Senator Datti Baba-Ahmed, also tasked the incoming administrations at all levels to deal with issues of high youth unemployment, poverty, and insecurity, particularly in the Northern region. He added that such important issues must be addressed by elected leaders if the country is to advance and develop.
